This page is maintained by the owner of Invoiice to explain how the app may be used. It is a plain-language summary, not legal advice — consult your own adviser for your situation.
1. Agreeing to these terms
By creating an account or using Invoiice you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated version.
2. What Invoiice is — and is not
Invoiice is a lightweight bookkeeping tool that helps you record income, expenses, receipts and invoices. It is not an accountant, tax adviser or legal adviser, and nothing in the app is financial, tax or legal advice. Calculations, totals and invoice documents are conveniences you must check yourself before filing or sending anything.
3. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of everything you enter, for meeting your own tax and reporting obligations, for keeping your login credentials confidential, and for keeping your own copies of records you must retain by law. You agree not to use Invoiice for unlawful activity or to upload content you have no right to store.
4. Use at your own risk — no warranty
Invoiice is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Use of the app is entirely at your own risk. There is no guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that stored data, calculations or documents will be free of mistakes or loss.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the owner of Invoiice is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, nor for lost profit, lost revenue, missed deadlines, tax penalties, fines, lost or corrupted data, or decisions you make based on information shown in the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including for intent or gross negligence.
6. Your data and privacy
Your records are stored in the app's cloud database and file storage. Access rules are configured so that each account can only read and change its own records, and uploaded receipts are stored in a private, non-public location reachable only through temporary links generated for your account. Administrators of Invoiice can see account-level information such as email address, plan and usage totals for support and billing. Do not upload information you are not permitted to store in a third-party service.
7. Trial, subscription and billing
New accounts start with a 14-day free trial that needs no payment card. After the trial, continued access requires an active paid subscription. Payments are handled by our payment provider; you can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Paid amounts already invoiced are not refunded unless required by law.
8. Availability, changes and ending your account
Features may change, and the app or individual features may be suspended or discontinued. You can stop using Invoiice and delete your account at any time. Accounts that misuse the service, break these terms or fail to pay may be suspended or closed. When an account is deleted, its data may be removed permanently and irreversibly.
